Kling 4.0: 30-second clips, keyframes and many references
Launched on 15 October 2026: a whole 30-second advert in one generation, keyframes to steer it, and sound with lip sync in many languages.
By The Crewnema team
Kuaishou launched Kling 4.0 on 15 October 2026, after showing it at Advertising Week New York and giving a smaller Kling 4.0 Flash to a limited group in late September. It follows Kling 3.0. These are the points from the launch and the coverage around it.
What Kuaishou announced
- Clips of up to 30 seconds in a single generation, and multi-shot continuation that takes a sequence towards about two minutes.
- Up to 10 keyframes to fix how characters, scenes and story beats look at chosen moments.
- Many references in one job: images, video clips and subjects together.
- Dual-channel stereo audio with lip sync in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Hindi, plus several Chinese dialects and English accents.
- 10-bit HDR and 4K output announced, with HDR and an enterprise API described as coming soon rather than part of the first rollout.
- Available on klingai.com, with Adobe saying it will bring Kling 4.0 to Firefly.
Our view
This is the release in this batch that matters most for adverts. Thirty seconds covers nearly every format a business posts, so the whole advert can come out of one generation instead of five clips stitched together, which is where faces and lighting usually drift. Keyframes are the right kind of control for an advert: you know the opening frame, the moment the product appears and the end card, and you want the model to fill in the rest.
Hindi lip sync is the line we read twice. For a business selling in India, a presenter who speaks Hindi with matching lips is the difference between an advert and a dubbed one. The caution is the usual one: a 30-second limit is what the model allows, not what it reliably delivers, and long single takes are where small errors pile up. We would still plan an advert as a few short beats and let the model join them.

Kling 4.0 is not on Crewnema’s roster yet; the Kling model at the Medium quality level is Kling O3 Pro. A model joins only once its provider publishes exactly which inputs it accepts and we have checked a request against that. How the levels work.
