Kling 3.0: storyboard control and many languages

Announced on 5 February 2026: clips of up to 15 seconds, a multi-shot storyboard feature and native audio in several languages.

Kuaishou announced the Kling 3.0 series on 5 February 2026, with four models: Video 3.0, Video 3.0 Omni, Image 3.0 and Image 3.0 Omni. These are the points from the company’s announcement.

What Kuaishou announced

  • Video of up to 15 seconds.
  • Native audio generation in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish, and in various English accents and Chinese dialects, including scenes where each character speaks a different language.
  • In Video 3.0 Omni, a multi-shot storyboard feature where you set the duration, shot size, perspective, story content and camera movement of each shot.
  • Better consistency of elements in Video 3.0, and in Video 3.0 Omni the option to upload a reference video from which the model takes a character’s look and voice and carries them into new scenes.
  • Image models with 2K and 4K output.
  • Early access for Ultra subscribers, with public availability to follow.

What it means for an advert

The storyboard control maps closely to how an advert is already planned: a few short shots, each with its own framing and purpose. Audio in several languages matters for businesses selling in more than one language, because the same advert can be re-voiced rather than reshot. A reference video for a character’s look and voice addresses the same problem as the reference slots in other recent models, keeping one person recognisable across shots.
